Hey everyone, I need to make some detailed part designs to work off of for machining pieces. I would like to use autoCAD to do so but all I have access to are my macs. What's a semi-equivalent program for mac 10.3 that will do the trick?

I did some searching and found a bunch of people talking about architecture programs, will those work just as well for 2D product / part design (a little 3D maybe) or is that completely different?

thanks for the help!

There are various CAD products for Mac. Some are aimed at specific markets such as architecture, but basically they all have the tools you need for drafting so they'll be usable for you no matter what you need to draw.
