hey,

I have been having an issue lately where my Macs keyboard becomes 100% unresponsive - unable to even sign in, or reset PRAM/SMC
(as the keyboard doesn't work) - first time the keyboard was black (no backlight) next time it was lit up but pressing keys did not register. I will say, if I am logged into my Mac, the Touch Bar does work regardless....

but the keyboard will not work, then randomly it will work again, has. anyone had this issue on the latest beta of 11.4? I might be able to take it in (not to apple as there is no apple store nearby) but it randomly starts working completely fine at times and im beginning to wonder if its a software issue or hardware...

anyone with ideas or similar issue would be greatly helpful!

Did you manage to solve this issue? My Mac has similar issues, since I updated to 11.6. I already went to the Apple store, but they couldn't help me with this issue.

I had to take it into a apple certified place (we don’t have apple stores) and they had to send it off, replace the battery and keyboard and charged me for the battery part - there was unfortunately no gic
