Hi all,

1st let me apologise if i have posted this in the wrong place.

I have lost connectivity to my MFD Printer Canon and cant seem to get to any printer IP address from the MAC however all webpages are fine email send/recieve etc

Can you tell me if there is any software/scan tool that can/will scan my MAC for issues that could be preventing it connecting?

TIA

Rooshi

This may not be your problem, but are you running any kind of VPN software? I installed a VPN client for work and was having the same issue seeing my printer. When I disconnect, the printer reappears.

Therealdamager thanks for the reply

Have had a look but cant seem to see anything VPN related :(

Good Morning - are you able to access the Canon IP on any other device? My guess would be the canon switched IPs if it was set to dynamic instead of static.

Also its Mac not MAC (which refers to media access control or the makeup company :) )

Thankins

I am able to reach the Canon IP on any Windows or any other "Mac"

As well as my Mobile devices - Have other Macs connected and no issues

Thanks

Rooshi
