Mac book features....

    hey guyz...
    i have a question. can any one discuss about santa rosa processor and if i buy a mac book now...will it be equipped with santa rosa...and what is the difference between the santa rosa and the regular ones....

    and which one do u guyz suggest buy...
    i am new to mac and student i dont want much sophisticated one....
    but the performance should be faster ......:confused:

    1. the santa rosa is now incorporated in all the new macbooks. if you were to buy one, yours would have this. the santa rosa allows for more memory to be installed, runs better(better battery life), and best of all includes a much better inegrated graphics, which will help you if you want to play some games, not all.

    2. i would suggest the low end model for you. the only downside is that you won't be able to burn a dvd. if you never plan on doing that than no big deal. the first model will be great for anything you want to do, ( music, email, school work, ect.) i would get the basic 1 gb of memory and at least the 160 gb hd.

    coming from someone with a macbook, i couldn't be happier with it, and good luck with your purchase and feel free to ask anymore questions!
