Mac Book Pro External HD reccomendations

Hi Guys new to this forum. An editorial photographer who has lots of files. I have an older Mac Book Pro late 2008. I use 2 Lacie 2tb External Hard drives that I back-up my files to now (manually). Have to upgrade to larger ext HD around 4TB or larger. Was thinking of larger Lacie's or Gtech. Suggestions of what I could do?

My vote goes to OWC. Pick an enclosure, connection method, drive type, and size.

Better yet is the buy "add your own drive" versions. This way you change out a hard drive if it fails. I like NewTech miniStack 0 version.

Sorry I failed to make it clear, OWC enclosures also permit you to pick and/or replace a drive.
