OS Neutral Mac Book Pro or another notebook?

I'm particularly undecided with the MSI GE60 2PE Apache Pro or the HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1. I need heeeelp! sorry for the bad english..

msi and asus have cheaper laptops with better video cards... and your games will run better... except most laptops in 2015 have thermal issues (heat problems) so the games often freeze for 1-3 seconds. happens on apple laptops as well.

only advantage in getting a macbook pro is the operating system, but if you're a gamer go with asus/msi. no point going mac for games, iphones are better than androids for gaming though, but thats another story.

I don't know this aspect about the video card, but all my friend that "love computer" told me not to take Mac because of the problem for any replacement and value for money..I don't use PC to play but only for the university, so I think the power and the graphics resolution of Mac Book pro is maybe the best..do not you think? Thank you for the answer!

there is no "power" in apple laptops, you can get a dell "retina" which is apple's market term for high res screen for a cheaper price.

you posted in a gaming forum so i thought you wanted to play games, my mistake.............................. if you only care about resolution get a dell, if you care about performance get msi/asus.

if you only care about word, spreadsheets, facebook, email, web browsing... just get a chromebook... chromebooks are cheap
