Mac Book screen closeing

Hey, im a New mac book user, Picked it all up REALLY FAST.. but no where can find a way to close the screen and not have it shut down on me lol 🙁

All i can say is Woohoo!!

i have been over a few forums and most of them dont work with the latist mac os X

Its not shutting down. Its going into Sleep.
