Mac Books Air won't turn on

Hi! Perhaps someone can chime in on this.
Mac Book Air won't turn on even after resets and the few other basic tricks.
I also noticed that my charger light never turns orange to green.
I removed the battery and plugged in the charger. The light is green at first for perhaps 5 seconds, the fans turns on, then the light turns orange and fans turns off.
I just changed my charger 6 months ago but I suspect it's defective. Any idea?

What kind of charger, an  one?
and what year is the Macbook air?
i used a amazon one for my MBA 2010 back in 2018 that lasted about 6 months

seems to me the charger is at fault, can you use another one?
(my MBP 2012 charger can work with my MBA 2010)
if there is an  store or any shop near by that sells  you can plug that there.
