I don't know what's happening. But I don't like it.
Essentially my hard drive thinks it's an iPod Shuffle. Started happening ever since installing Lion. I don't know what to do, I'm at a loss. Can anyone help me?

Hahahahaha. Thanks for the laugh... I actually think it's pretty cool. But really, I don't know what to tell you. Hopefully someone can help you clear this up.

Is the machine in question a legitimate Mac? I've never seen 'EFI Boot' as a volume on a Mac. Seems like a Hackintosh to me. Not sure anyone can help you with that here.

Hahahahah I find it quite ridiculous. It's not even a big deal but the odd time I go to the bootloader, I'm dumbfounded. Then I realize that my harddrive likes to do the shuffle. And it's a Late 2006 iMac. I'm pretty sure EFI Boot comes up cause I have a "Install Mac OS X" file on my external drive. I've searched the interwebz high and low for this problem to no avail cause it's incredibly vague problem that's hard to describe… hopefully people get a some laughes out of it though :p
