It will enter random keys and when booting up and down the computer speakers make odd noises like the volume keys are being pressed lots. I have checked the batterys and they are all good. Any ideas?

Giuly macrumors 68040 Mar 23, 2013 #4 There are two plastic sheets with circuit boards inside, when keys stick most likely the traces corroded - because of a liquid spell. So yes, you need a protector.
