@mac.com email accounts w/ iOS5

Is it possible to configure an "old" @mac.com email address in iOS5?? I'm on Verizon and I know its not do-able because of 4.2.8 (apparently it is possible with 4.3.3?)- but what about iOS5, and if so - how would one go about setting that up?

@mac.com automatically sends as @me.com -- you receive @mac.com still, but Apple seems to be phasing it out.
