Mac compatibility issues with Creative Zen Vplus

I've searched several forums including here to try to find out how to make my Creative Zen Vplus MP3 player compatible with my Macbook. XNJB is a program that is recommended, but it doesn't show that it'll help with the Zen Vplus. My Mac doesn't even recognize that anything is plugged in. I don't want to get an iPod when I have a perfectly functioning (on a PC, that is) MP3 player. Suggestions are appreciated. I'm really frustrated with my Mac because there seem to be several applications that I had been using on my PC that I can no longer use. This is just my most recent issue.

I use XNJB. I have a Creative Zen VPlus and it's supported.
