Hello All, so I gave my father my old g4 (ahh classic) and now he's hooked on mac..Especially with his itunes and his new ipod...now Id like to get him a media extender to hook up to his living room receiver. Does anyone have any media center extender suggestions aside from the appleTV that work with the mac? I know D-Link and Linkysys have media center extenders but they are only compatible with PC/vista's media center. Thanks in advance everyone. Happy Holidays.

The only one I know of is the ATV or Tversity to stream to an xbox360 or ps3.

If he's just looking for audio, the Airtunes feature of the Airport Express would work.

Airport Express works well. Apple refurb stors has them now and then at a decent price.
