Just looking for some buying advice regarding a Mac compatible moblie device.
Is considering a Palm TX an archaic idea? Should I be afraid of windows based devices if all i want to do is view/edit/create text documents?

I am looking for a cost effective way to :

> perform Word processing task (ability to view/edit/create text documents)
> transfer text documents back & forth to my mac
> have WiFi enabled email + web browsing
> have a QWERTY keyboard (real or virtual)
> touch screen + "doodle" option would be a major bonus

Telephone communication isn't important to me but is the PDA concept dead and should I be looking at a smartphone?

thanks

For basic word processing on multiple devices, you might want to try Google Docs. It's a very nice service.

And it works particularly well on the iPhone. :)

Hey eddietr - thanks for your input - good idea

I guess using google docs would require a constant connection...eh?
iphone isn't in canada yet but is that the most robust mobile computing device for a mac person?
