Mac Customization Help

Hello all. I am still a newbie when it comes to mac Desktop customization. Now i was wondering if you could point me in some directions.

A "Cube" Effect for my desktop
Dock Color Change
Any other cool effect.... can someone put me in the right direction for these type of items? Thanks!

btw i am Running Mac OS X 10.6.3

This sounds like the Beryl/Emerald/Compiz effects that you can find on Linux.
So far I have not seen too much of this inside of OSX from applications. I believe people are using Geektool to create all of the fancy effects on their desktop

Beryl/Emerald/Compiz isn't available for OS X (or Windows, for that matter). You could see if you can find an older (free) version of BumpTop for a 3D desktop. BumpTop got bought out (I think by Google) and is no longer available. If you can't find a free version of it online, PM me and I'll send you my copy (perfectly legal).
