Hello,

I have a friend who has some problems with his MAC hard drive.

I know a thing or two about data recovery and he asked me to help him. Hard drive does not get reconized by the system anymore.

I have only PC. Is there a way to solve this?

What do you suggest, please?

Thank you!

With MacDrive installed on your PC you should be able to recognize the disk (if at all readable). I've never seen it used for rescue operations, though...

Thank you.
Will look into it.

What would you do in this situation, please?

There are Mac data recovery solutions available. I've tried this one before, and it worked well. Found a bunch of files on a corrupted, unrepairable hard drive I had. None of them were particularly important to me, I was mostly just exploring to see what I could do, so I didn't buy the full version and actually try to recover any of them, but anyway, that's an option.

There are quite a few other apps out there for this sort of thing, but this one seems like maybe it's the most popular?
