mac desktop sharing with pcs

Hello, i am new to mac and glad i made the change from pc.
unfortunately, most of the people i work with are using pc and we have to share desktops. this was done before using windows messenger.. i have it for the mac cant share my mac desktop.

can anyone please help on how to share my dektop with other pc users?
I looked everywhere and cant find much on this topic.

VNC is the protocol you want (MSN Messenger has nowhere near feature parity across the 2 platforms). Any VNC Server should work, and Chicken of the VNC is a great client.

I prefer using TeamViewer, which works with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Ubuntu, iPhone, iPad, etc. It's very secure and quite simple to set up and use.
