    Hi,

Wondering if anyone has any advice. I just got back home after a 12 day vacation. I had unplugged my desktop (an old 2001 PowerMac Quicksilver) for the whole time.

Now when I try and turn it on, the white LED on the tower blinks off and I don't hear the fan or harddrive. It just fails to turn on. The old studio display is connected to seems to work (or at least it's white LED stays on).

Does this have anything to do with a capacitor? It's been 24 hours since the power strip that both are connected to have been turned on and still no change in the desktop.

Please help me! I still need some files on the desktop before I bury it. Thanks.

Hold the small toggle near the battery on the logic board for about 10 seconds and try to boot.
