Now, whenever I' try to click on a photo, it immediately goes totally black. i click on the next one and it turns black. No photos will stay visible for me now, they all turn black. everywhere. Help, please.
i have an older MAC desktop MAC HI SIERRA runs great, but this just started the other day. I am in the process of trying to check all my apps and upgrade them as well. to try to fix this. Thank you so much for any help as all.

It might help others to better help you if you posted the specs of your Mac. iMac, Mac mini, etc and which year processor etc.

Sounds like an Accessibility issue to me, but I can't seem to find that in my System Preferences at the moment! ??

OP:

When you "click on" a photo, are you doing this "in the finder"?
Or... does this happen while running a photo app, such as Photos, iPhoto, etc.?

What kind of Mac do you have?
What year was it made?
