Hi,

I've got my MBP and iMac syncing via .Mac and have enabled the dock items to sync. As you can see this is the screen that appears on my MBP. I can't understand why this has occurred. Why does it want to delete the dasboard app and replace it with 'dashboard'!?!?

There is something really not right about this!

I noticed last night that the .Mac Sync was down for maintenance. at least here in the Northwest US. I just checked again and the page shows that it is still down.

UPDATE: As of 10/25/07 5 PM PDT, the .Mac Sync maintenance is still in progress. We thank you for your patience as we work to restore service ASAP.

Due to scheduled maintenance, some members may not be able to sync with the www.mac.com website, or may receive an unexpected "What would you like to do for this first sync?" alert. We apologize for any inconvenience. Read here for more information.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with your problem, but it seems unusual for this maintenance to be going on this long. The post referenced above was made on Oct 19th, and updated on the 25th.

i hope thats the issue however it appears the syncing is working....

EDIT: Well its still doing it and its damn'd annoying!!!
