The master data storage on my Mac Pro 6,1 (an M.2 SSD in a Transcend Jetdrive TB enclosure) was getting full and I got a Corsair MP400 4TB SSD to upgrade it.
However, I cannot get it seen by my Mac. I could see it, and clone the content of the former disk, in a PCIe adapter in my Linux desktop, but it remains invisible when connected to my Mac in the TB enclosure (and the necessary Mac M.2 adapter). The same setup works fine with a 2TB Intel 660p.
Any idea where the problem could come from?

- A MacOS problem with M.2 SSDs > 2TB?
- A Mac problem with Corsair MP400s specifically?
- A problem with the enclosure or the Mac M.2 adapter?
