Ok guys so this morning I switch both my Mac Pro's on ( running Public beta 8 Mojave ) and I am greeted with Mac fan controls windows saying there is a new version please visit our web site, only thing is on the web site march is the latest release.

I have Re booted both machines twice and re installed Mac fan controls but still get this message window about there being a new release of the software?

anyone else getting this?

I block the MFC telemetry so that it will continue to work. MFC's practice of making the software pause until user intervention is an absurd practice for software that is supposed to control fans on a system.

I only had an issue in bootcamp (I only use this software to play games) when installing it kept giving me errors saying CODE 5. I just ran the installer as the administrator and it installed fine.

As there is nothing new to a Mac Pro in the 1.4.11 version release note, I pushed "skip update".
Skip 1.4.11 was then present in the MFC preferences.
Nevertheless, everytime I was asked to update.
Finally I have updated, but imagine one day there would be any overkill feature, I prefere to not to update.
Zeke D what did you mean by blocking the telemetry?

MFC 'phones home' to check if there is a software update available. I block that check with little snitch. Since MFC doesn't know an update is available, it doesn't do that inane 10-second countdown requiring user intervention.
