I have been searching high and wide for other Mac owners that also own a 360 but until now have not been so lucky. I got so sick of hearing problems PC owners had with their 360 and I never had anyone to lend an ear to my Mac/360 problems until now, joy! :D Speaking of problems, about that widely known DNS error associated with routers, after reading a few posts, I'm assuming that the problem isn't Mac related (seeing as how it's a Microsoft product).

i just bought a 360 a week ago and i love it. havent had any router problems or anything.
i think its a solid product. i just think M$ made a bad decision about shipping off RROD consoles that they knew about. but there replacement plan is pretty good so i guess that kinda makes up for it

You can get them through Dell right now for $169 :( I'm finding it real hard to resist now (and I only resist because of other things I need to save for) $169 would buy about a third of a Wacom Intuos :(

I've got a 360 and a PS3.

360 name - Dr Doomsicle

PS3 name - Doomrod

I chose those names because I thought they showed a certain sense of maturity.

I go where the games are....Window is a poor product IMO, while the Xbox 360 is great fun.

I think MS really nailed the software/hardware end to end solution with Xbox 360...Windows, not so much.

I have a 360, PS3 and a Wii.

I use the 360 for games, the PS3 for BluRay and steaming vids and the Wii for when I have a couple friends over.

I've yet to game on the PS3 but I think my next purchase will be COD 5 to give it a shot.

I've got a Mac, PC, and 360. (Mac is Bootcamp capable).

I'm only seriously playing 1 game on my Mac- WoW. Everything else is PC/Bootcamp or 360. Currently looking forward to L4D.

Finally splurged and got a 360 for Halo 3 - loved Halo: CE on the Mac, and noticed Halo 2 and 3 only are for Xbox (2 was made for Vista, but I hate Vista... plus it's like $10 for a used Halo 2 copy for Xbox).

Now I have about 15 games - one of the best, imo, is Guitar Hero. Haven't tried Rock Band, because I think I'd get too addicted.

Had a 360 since December 2006; PM me for my gamertag. Maybe I'll see you online sometime!

Currently playing: Fable II and Test Drive Unlimited

heeeeeeeeeeeey!

and i love it

i need more games

but i can't connect to xbox live...

I used to have all 3 consoles, but just sold the Wii and PS3 to help pitch in money for my MacBook.

There seem to be a number of us here on MR. :)

Haven't heard of that. I have an ooooold Linksys wireless b router (though the 360 is attached VIA a 50' CAT5e cable :D) and no connection problems.

Me too. Got fed up with the troubles of PC gaming  and 360->PC ports that just didn't feel right.

I've had a 360 since 2006, the same one too! (knock on wood)

Add me if you feel like playing. my gamertag: duberto

Usually play L4D, GoW2, CoD4, and some others which aren't shooters.

Had a 360 since it hit the scene and love it.

Apologies if this is common knowledge, but I've only just discovered it.

Connect 360 - NullRiver

Allows you to stream video, images and music to your 360 from your, wait for it......Mac!

Just another reason not to fire up my PC, since I switched a few months ago now :D

Ok, after playing it for several weeks (off and on) I'm crazy about L4D. :D
