MAC GAMEPLAY VIDEOS WITH "Show FPS" OPTION

mac-gaming.jpg

I was looking for a discussion to show real gameplay with FPS on my older macs.
It s useful to understand what we can run and it s always fun to see a mac on heavy tasks :)

Post your MAC Gameplays video here pls.
Rules:

- Only Mac with Mac os or Bootcamp. no pc or console gameplay.
- No Reports or Reviews without a video showing your gameplay.
- NO personal conjectures on FPS : you must use [Steam "Show FPS" option] - [In game FPS counter] or - [MSI AB] (under bootcamp)
- We need your FULL MAC SPECS : not in the sign, pls write em.
- You can post unplayable games : it s more useful to see low fps and unplayable games than only perfect games.

this thread can be fantastic if just 2 or 3 mac users are going to support it properly! I always look for proper documented gameplays on macs!

Holy.... Heroes of the Storm runs on Intel HD3000? I'm on the road with a spare mac mini... time to test.

Hello! I think your Intel HD 3000 is better than mine : i5-2557m in macbook air is undervolted !

BTW in close combat ( 0:54 in the video) fps dropped from 45 to ... 2 for a second
with this occasional stuttering you can t be competitive, also if usuals fps are ok

ah, i tried HoTS also under Windows 10 too: usually fps are better with directX, but not in this case :(

edit: Flint, if you are going to try some games on your mac mini, can you record a small video ?

Useful thread! So I played an AI match on adept. The game was still downloading in the background. It stuttered enough to be annoying on occasion, but playable. Will test again once it's all there.

Sorry I got so excited that I forgot you asked for specific feedback. I'll see what I can do for FPS and video as I don't use boot camp.

Mac mini mid 2011
4GB
Intel HD 3000 384MB
booting from external thunderbolt enclosure with 10k drives in RAID 0

A quick match mid day when I need to clear the cobwebs is just perfect!
