Mac Help please - wont boot up

After updating to new update i have had major issues
but now my mac wont switch on.
after the apple logo i get a load icon and it doesnt load up.
evan trying to load from disk by pressing C wont do anything.
any help will be great guys

Call phone support or take it in.

Make sure you have the correct install disc, if you have multiple Macs. If it will not boot to the disc, you have likely a logic board issue, which was not caused by the update.

The Mac is trying to help you. It's a new feature where it won't boot in hopes that you'll switch to a different computing platform.

Who is Evan? Is he the guy at the Genius Bar? Those guys never help.

JediMeister- i only have 1 mac but i have leopard and snow leopard
and if its a logic board issue how much do you think it cost to fix
