I am going on a long trip and was thinking about using .mac as a picture repository for all the pictures that i will be taking. I want to have a secure and safe way to store them. Would it be easy to transfer pictures (full quality) to .mac and how easy would this be from any computer in the world, read windows PCs in an internet cafe. I don't really want anything fancy just want to be able to store large files in any format, raw etc.

Edit: would it also be cheaper to buy it out in Malaysia and is it possible to set it up from a non mac, i.e online.

well you use to have a mac to open a .Mac account. afaiac, I reopened an old mac account from a PC so I dunno if this has changed.

If find the upload process quite easy. You will be able to simply send your picture by email to your webgallery or access your iDisk on the web and set it up on a PC/mac
