I doubt they would make this a small tuesday release. They would definitely wait the extra week for WWDC for publicity reasons. They want to show it integrated with the iPhone.

Also, even if they are waiting for WWDC, .Mac is not going to be down for a week. Many people rely on that for their email and stuff and apple wouldn't just throw them in front of a bus like that.

If anything, I think they may be testing some code or slowly updating the backbone. They may have messed something up and had to pull .Mac down for a small amount of time.

This is just my opinion though...

I'm getting this when I try to log in through the .Mac website:

Gateway Timeout
The following error occurred:

Code:
A gateway timeout occurred. The server is unreachable. Retry the request.
Please contact the administrator.

WTF. I'm expecting an important e-mail tonight.

Its not really a small time. My mail hasn't been working for about 5 hours.

Looks like I can't get in either. It appears that everyone may be down. I can't get mail through Mail.app or through www.mac.com. They have released new things a week before keynotes before. They do this since they can't get everything new in one keynote. At least that's what I would think.

wow im surprise this isnt on the main updates yet my dad said his .mac account is down for his work place too

.MAC mail works somewhat BUT new problems arrive as soon as .mac is fixed intreasting
