My Mac keeps asking me to install Java SE 6 when it's booted. I don't use any Java programs so I don't know why it keeps asking me. The dialog box states that to run 'java', you need to install Java SE 6 runtime.

Anyone know how to let it stop asking it? (and without installing Java)

It's probably used by some app that you downloaded. Do you use Amazon Cloud Drive? There are a few apps that use Java that you may have installed.

Thank you for replying,

I seem to have solved the problem. For those that are having similar issues, here it was a Facebook video calling file in LaunchAgents folder within the hidden Library folder. I deleted the file and it stopped asking now 🙂
