Mac keyboard being weird.

Hi for some reason my Macbook Pro 15" Retina (2012) is adding extra symbols whenever I press certain keys.

For example my "/" key does this "=/" and when I try and Shift+/ to do a question mark, I get this "+?"

Any way to fix this? I can't stress how annoying it is. I've tried different user accounts and it's still the same.

Check you "System Preference" -> Keyboard -> Text

May by you have accidentally created short cuts?
