I went to the Apple store website and found a keyboard for 29 dollars. It has 109 keys including a backward delete key which my present keyboard is missing. I hate not having a backward delete key so that is one of the primary reasons I am looking for a new keyboard. Also, I don't like the way my current keyboard feels. I like the old PC type keyboards that click and make a lot of noise. I like the feel of the clicking like each key stroke is a throwing a switch.

I'm wondering if anyone has purchase one of these 29 dollar keyboards and if they can tell me how it feels (i.e. does it click or is it spongy?). I've read some of the reviews and they talk about how hard it is to keep clean and so on and so forth. Also, since you can see below how old my MAC G3 is, will it even work? I don't think I have 2.0 usb ports and I've tried to determine this by looking at the appropriate "this mac" menu. Oh, wait a minute...I think I've already established that I have the old usb ports because it says the following regarding the USB hub.
Product ID: 21931 ($55ab)
Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
Bus Power (mA): 500
Vendor ID: 1033

If they were 2.0 usb ports they would be faster than 12 Mb/sec right?

yeah, keyboards don't need to be USB 2.0.. neither do mice really. The only things that require USB 2.0 are data-transfer peripherals, like hard drives, ipods, cameras, etc.
