Mac Mail auto mark as read - how to stop

first post so please go easy!, can anyone tell me how to 'stop' macmail from automatically marking mails as read when I scroll through them

No, you can't. When you're done select Command A then right click and Mark as Unread.

I have just installed Truepreview on Show Leopard and it works fine.
