Here's my problem: I have checked the box for Rich Text email in Mail, and I have selected Verdana as my font. All of the messages in Mail display as Verdana, and when I compose a message, it's displayed as Verdana, but when I look at messages I've sent in my Exchange Outlook Web Access (on a PC) it's ALL Times New Roman 12. In Gmail, it's the typical Helvetica normal to Gmail plain text messages--indicating that no font was selected. What could be going on? I notice that my friends' emails show the true font selected when using Mac OS X and Entourage. Thoughts?

It's email; it's not a PDF file. If you want to have some modicum of control over the formatting of your messages, then send HTML mail. That is its purpose. If not, then send RTF or standard email and get on with your life.
