Mac Mail Lost Recent Days' Mail

When the Mac Pro started automatically this morning the mail from the last three days was missing from Mac Mail. Last night I shut down normally.

Most disturbing. Does anyone have similar experiences or thoughts about where to look?

I've had it loose a large group of sent messages before, but they were over a year old and I never figured out what happened. You might try rebuilding your mailboxes to see if they are just not showing up in your viewer.
