Hello.

I just got mobile me, and have decided to use the built in mail program on my mac. (I used to only use hotmail)...

Anyways, i was wondering if there is a way to set it up so that i get notified on screen every time i recieve an email? Like with my msn, as long as i was signed into the messenger, i would have a popup with the info when a new mail was recieved.

On this mail, all that happens is the little red dot changes numbers lol, not very noticable. Maybe a way to connect it to growl?

thanks for the help,

Ryan Shanabarger

Yes, GrowlMail is included among the Growl extras. Growl 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 contains the Leopard-compatible GrowlMail extra.

thank for the reply...

I installed it, and opened it... made sure it was enabled both in the growl preferences, and in the Mail preferences...

But it still isn't actually showing notifications... Is there a trick? I tried restarting both growl and mail, and it didnt help.

Thanks,
Ryan
