Hello folks - I need some help.

I accidentally deleted an entire account on my Mac Mail, including all recieved messages, sent messages, etc - and it was work related, so it really screws me to lose them all. It was my old job's account, I had command+clicked the mailbox and hit delete, thinking it would just delete the account info and not all the old messages. Probably not the brightest move in the world, but there it is - and I really need these messages.

I tried poking around some folders - all the messages can't be completley gone and done, right? PLEASE tell me they're still somewhere in my machine and retrievable. I've not emptied my trash or anything.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes....

Yes - I looked at that - unfortunatley, a lot of my messages were just stored in my inbox, not in mailboxes - there are some messages in my mailboxes, but the bulk of the messages I'm trying to retrieve were deleted from my inbox. . .🙁

Oh man - a whole bloody gig has been freed up - couple thousand messages. ..GONE. 😡
