Hi, is there a way to create a rule in mac mail that says

" when a new mail gets moved to folder X, mark that message as READ"

i could not figure it out, but is there any 3rd party software out there that can i can download..

Add a second action to the rule. 1st action, Move to folder X, second action, Mark as Read.

Unless something has changed in Mail the actions should be available.
