Mac Mail sends thumbnail images instead of actual file

I can't find the answer to this anywhere. But when I send a picture to anyone through Mail (version 9.1), it just gives them a little thumbnail instead of the actual photo. I have looked everywhere on how to fix this...

Can anyone help me?

You are sending an image using the Mac Mail.app, as an attachment, and the image is being resized when attaching it?

Do you see the "Image Size:" selector after adding a picture when composing a new email?
