Mac Mail stamp icon is gone

I'm trying to set up my mac mail but the stamp icon is gone. How can I get it back? I have an iMac 10.5.8.

What do you mean gone? From the dock at the bottom of the screen?

Is it in the Applications folder?

You mean the app is off the dock then you can go into the applications folder or do a spotlight search

The stamp and ap are completely gone. It's not in the dock. It's not in the applications folder. I did a spotlight search.
