Just bought a new iMac and want to sign up to .Mac

I have seen that I can simply sign-up online OR order the package/box from the Store (which takes 24 hours to ship).

What is the advantage with ordering the physical box vs simply signing up online??

I think the advantage of ordering a box is that you can get it for cheaper if you buy from a third-party, such as an eBay reseller or Amazon.com.

I found that Amazon sells .Mac for 79 USD.

The box only has a little book and a subscription key in it, so like carrollf said its just the price.
