Okay, so, I downloaded an app that was supposed to change the color of my menu bar, but now the menu bar is transparent? I can't see the apple logo, but I can see everything else. :( i've had this problem before and I did fix it with some start up command, but I forgot. It was years ago. Help? I've added a screen shot.

Also, in my finder, the tabs are blank.

Perhaps this will help? Go to System Preferences->Desktop & Screen Saver->Desktop and uncheck "Translucent menu bar".

That may not fix it completely if the rogue app changed the color too. What app was it, by the way?

I called Apple and they suggested the same thing. it did work, but to fix the other issue, I had to reinstall snow leopard. The app is Magnifique.
