I'm not going to go as far as to say that the Mac Business Unit lied about this update, but they definitely didn't tell the truth. Don't think I'll believe this until I see it.

MS is known for being slower to get it right, but maybe, the delay will be good for the program.

Yea, 7 years for Vista and it sucked so bad. I waited with my ancient XP dinosaur for 9 years before something could replace it, and then I saw the price and the stupid multitude of editions to choose from.

I've reached the point where using any Instant Messaging client just isn't very convenient anymore. I guess it was Facebook Chat that did it for me — having it all built-in has been ridiculously simple. Granted, Facebook Chat sucks because it disconnects all the time, but integrating it with Adium makes up for it.

ahhaha yah! It does disconnect a lot! I didn't realize it till you
    pointed it out.
    LOL.
I never used FB chat till Adium integrated it too. All the non Apple users
that come by are like, "All that is really built in to that one program?"
I just tell em' it's like Trillian sort of on Windows. It's been pretty stable
    too.
Don't get me wrong, I like Microsoft. I have a 360, used Windows for a decade, do college stuff in Office 08.. but MSN on Mac leaves a LOT to
be desired. Think it is time for a complete rewrite for that proggie.
