Mac Mini 1.83 C2D Ram Type

I did a search and cant seem to find the exact answer to my question so I apologize ahead of time if this is a simple answer.

I have a 1.83 C2D mini with 1 gig of ram. I am looking to go to the max which I understand is 2gigs. Correct?

What kind of ram would I need? I was unable to find an exact answer to this so anything would be helpful.

It seems although apple only sells and recommends a max of 2GBs of ram, the newest minis can address 3GBs of ram! =)
