    Hi All,

I am trying to establish if anyone has managed to get 1:1 pixel mapping over HDMI @ 1080P. I get a picture stated as 1080i but have a black border all round. Now if I click the overscan option I get 2-5% round the edge missing.

How do I get 1:1 mapping and 1080P not i as there doesn't appear to be any more options ? :(

    Thanks
    Craig.

I have managed to get 1:1 Pixel mapping to work.

What you need to do is set overscan in the options then apply Justscan on the TV and presto it works. Still 1080i mind.

I have also managed to get 1080P working as well using SwitchResX but I haven't figured out yet what I did to get it working. Once I do will post the settings.

Still got to get VGA working again and note what I did yet.

    Stay tuned.

    Cheers
    Craig.

Are you certain that you're not getting 1080p? On my Macbook and Sharp LCD, OS X reports 1080i, but the TV reports 1080p. I think there is a "bug" in OS X on how resolutions are reported - may be limited to GMA950 machines.
