Mac mini 2011 and the current apple wireless keyboard and mouse question.

I am wondering if the Mac mini 2011 and the current apple wireless keyboard will work.
Apples website (the store) part does not list it as compatible.
So will it work?

No it will not. I believe it requires firmware update that was never written for the mini 2011. I have the newest keyboard and gave it a try and it just doesn't seem to connect.

I'm using the space grey keyboard with it right now, remember having the white mouse working as well.

Should work. I can only see on the Apple website it requires macOS 10.11 or 10.12.
