I have a couple Mac Mini’s that are just sitting around. I’ve been using one as a media/Plex server but finding that I’m not using it much. Trying to figure out which one I should keep or sell or keep both?

1. Mid-2011 dual core i7 2.7, 16GB ram, 750HDD
2. Late-2012 dual core i5 2.5, 8GB, 500HDD

Wondering how much they’re selling for (is it worth the effort?)?

Any advice would be appreciated. TIA.

[doublepost=1538662337][/doublepost]Hello. I would be interested in the i7 mini. It is October and rumors are swirling about new mini models. The release of them would probably reduce the resale value of your units. Selling on eBay costs fees from eBay and PayPal totaling about 13%. If we should do a deal I would gift you the payment thru PayPal, no fees for us!

To find the going rate go to eBay and check out what they fetch. Buy-it-now prices don't matter as much as what they go for in open bidding. If you have an eBay account put some units in your watch list and check the results of the sale.

You can also Google Every Mac to find prices for used macs but these prices are from professional resellers.

Hope this helps.
