    Any ideas ?

I have no 3rd party SW installed.

Using Mac wired keyboard and the Mac Magic Mouse.

Display goes to sleep, mini does not.

I can manually put it to sleep no problem...

Anyone else have the issue ?

    Any tips ?

Hoping I do not need to swap out.....

Don't quote me but I seem to recall reading other posts saying there was a known bug with Lion and sleep.

    It's a brand new machine... I don't think it's tired :)

    Sorry.

    Any links?

Certainly, getting my mid-2010 Mac Mini to sleep took some perseverance and tinkering.

I can't be certain, but I suspect that, counter-intuitively, The key for me was to never start the screen server. I also run PleaseSleep, but I'm not sure how much that helps.

It sleeps pretty well now though.

I have not put my hands on Lion. But I know that the sleep times can be set for both the computer and the display in the Energy Saver pane within the System Preferences under the :apple: menu in Snow Leopard.
