Hi !

Solution is simple - apple pcie connector scheme is available, there is no schema mini connector on the Macintosh computer.

Therefore, if someone can take a good photo of the underside of the ssd pcie flex cable from mac mini fusion/flash ssd version (with adhesive foil removed because it obscures the printed path ) you can make your own cable.

The photo from Ifixit is not sufficient for this purpose :(

This both connector is connected 1:1, but without schematic or photo don't know what is the distribution of the signals on the mobo pcie connector mac mini.

And is all :)

Reg.

I got around to opening my parcel of the PCIe SSD flex cable to do my own upgrade. it had been unopened and was from Apple Distribution with the part number 076-00018 on it (should of comprised the Cable, 2 screws and the plate) .. It only had 1 screw and the plate inside... (devastated) , the company I had ordered it from , (whom I will not name) tried to re-order the part and I am told apple informed them they would not supply the said part and where putting a hold on part orders ?!? , I have attempted to procure from elsewhere , and it hopefully should be on its way..

From this it follows that the cable is not available?
Can you write where you bought it?

Can you take a picture of this cable as described above?
This will be very helpful for me.

I dont have the cable as yet.. it is the same as that shown in ifixit teardown .. PCIe to SSD.. The Part number should be 076-00018 and consist the cable, and the plate that screws on top on the pcie connector to keep the cable in place.. This is all I received..

Scoob, i just need the SSD bracket and two torx screws that hold the cable in place. Is 076-00018 those parts?
Thanks!
