Hi, I'm having weird problem with Mac Mini 2018 I5 ram upgrade.
I bought two Crucial 16GB sticks (Ct16g4sfd8266) while installing the two modules, I can't get the Mac to boot.
I tested the modules separately on the Mac and they both work, and in different sockets, but together it doesn't matter what combination of sockets it just doesn't boot into.
I wanted to know if it happened to someone else or is it just bad luck haha.
Thanks since now ! Greetings.

I have not heard that one. I have read a few posts of issues for not seating it in all the way, but they resolved that with a re-do. Usually the other issue is breaking the wifi wire.

From your constant testing It sounds like it has to be a Crucial problem. If you put the original Apple ram back in does it work? Is your apple ram 2 stick? If that is a yes yes I would leave it and get replacement ram. Just my opinion.

Hey. Did you managed to get your problem fixed?

No, I couldn't solve my problem.
Both memories worked fine separately, but inserting them both in my Mac Mini simply did not start the computer.
The configuration of a 16GB module and another 4GB module worked, I'm just saying this for explanation.
I ended up selling the original 4GB modules and I also sold a 16GB one.
For my tasks 16GB is enough, but I had the illusion of having 32GB just to see the number haha.
