Do you think this will happen? In the Spring perhaps? Apple is good about keeping rumors about this on lockdown though.

sad reality is probably not.. I think the best you could hope for in 2020 is a bump in ssd size or a very small price reduction. I'm hoping for an upgrade in 2021, but 2022 probably has better odds.

2020 is the year of the butterfly keyboard update. Maybe a major update for iMacs in 2021 and Mac Minis in 2022 once Intel gets their CPU act together.

Does not feel to me like Apple wants Mini market anymore. After 35 years, I bought a small form factor quad core Lenovo. Some of the software is proving hard to replace, but no showstoppers yet. All the format changing will be the largest PITA, but Win/LINUX seems to offer a more realistic hope of not giving all my patent ideas to Google/Apple for free.

-Turns out no WiFi/internet makes for the best firewall.

I bet Apple will release a new Mini using the upcoming 11th-gen Intel iGPUs. Nothing major, just a CPU/iGPU spec bump. Late 2020, or maybe Early 2021 since the mini is a low priority for Apple.

I would love to see a new Mac mini. Maybe small internal upgrade but it does need to have a working wifi/BT. This has kept me away from the current gen.
