Hi, Looking at getting a Mac Mini 2023 M2 and want to connect it to my 30" Apple Cinema Display that I still like to use. This is what came with the Display (See Pic) along with the power brick

Will this adapter work - BENFEI

No. Its a passive (no active electronics) device that is only DVI single-link:
"resolutions up to 1920*1200@60Hz"

30" displays need DVI dual-link to get their higher resolution, and that means an active, powered adapter.
They usually have a USB-A plug to plug in to power them.

You need a USB-C/TB3 equivalent, or a TB3 to mini-DP adapter as well.

I have a Mac mini M2 Pro and Lenovo T470S, they both are working with 30" Apple Cinema Display, using The Club 3D CAC-1510-A is a USB3.2 Gen1 Type-C input to Dual Link DVI-D or Single Link DVI output adapter HDCP OFF version for Apple Cinema Displays. HDCP OFF version is important!!!!!!!!

You will need a dual-link DVI adapter, not single-link.

Or, you can get a USB-C to miniDisplayPort as long as it will handle the resolution... then plug the miniDisplayPort to dual link DVI adapter into that. But it's a bit of a cabling mess.
